Sharri is a filmmaker and professor living in Southern California.  Sharri wrote for Gene Rhee’s THE TROUBLE WITH ROMANCE, which stars David Eigenberg (Sex and the City) and Jordan Belfi (Entourage). GEORGIA HEAT, a script Sharri wrote with fellow NYU Alum Mora Stephens, was selected for Tribeca All Access, participated in Film Independent’s Fast Track, and won Asian Cinevision.

As a member of the independent production entity Hyphenate Films, Sharri has line produced Joel Viertel’s STRICTLY SEXUAL and Guerilla marketed Mora Stephens’ CONVENTIONEERS.

As a producer, Sharri has produced several award-winning shorts, including Nathan Butera’s BROTHER and Janet McIntyre’s BIRD IN HAND. Sharri has also worked as a field producer for E! ENTERTAINMENT’s TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORIES series.

As an actor, Sharri starred in the world premieres of Emmy-winning Peter Lefcourt’s LA RONDE DE LUNCH and SWEET TALK and played Curley’s Wife under the direction of LATC founder Bill Bushnell. Sharri received her MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and graduated summa cum laude from California State, Long Beach.
